South Korean's Yeongdeok haunted house.

The Yeongdeok Haunted House (historically known as Wooseok Garden) is  located in Gyeongsang Province on the eastern coastline.

The house was built in October 1980 as a family owned  seafood restaurant near the beach, though it now lays in severe disrepair and over the past four plus decades since it's construction it has become one of the most well known  haunted houses in South Korea.

According to legend,  the ghost's are the former student solders that died during a diversion operation at Jangsari beach in Yeongdeok while  drawing the North Koreans attention away from the Battle of Inchon in the Korean War.

Around 400 to 700 young  soldiers tragically lost their lives during this battle and are belived to have been buried in this area. It is said that while 139 were killed and 92 were wounded (officially), the rest just went missing.

The reason for the haunting is because the house was supposedly built on top of the mass grave of the soldiers that died there.

Though that's how the legend goes many locals also claim that's not true.

The house has been featured on several lists as Korea’s most haunted and in the top three haunted locations in many publications.

This house has also been featured in several TV, paranormal special's, nline articles and in countless YouTube paranormal investigation's.

Visitors have reported headaches,  equipment malfunctions and even EVP's ( electronic voice phenomena) Ghost talking on recording..

One famous shaman that visited the location claimed their are in fact thousands of spirits there.

......

👻👻👻

Urban Legends

In one story, a young couple once bought the place to turn it into a seafood restaurant as they got it cheap because of the haunted rumors. But not soon after they opened for business strange things started to happen.

The wife reported spotting a ghost in the staircase, descending from the second floor again and again with the hair hanging down and when she first saw it she is reported to have fainted at the spot by the mere sight of it. It all was too much and they ended up abandoning the place not soon after because of all the incidents that kept occuring in their home.

In another version of this story the husband died in a car crash and the wife later flees the house because of the frightening ghost in the stairs .

........

According to a slightly different variation of this tale the first owner died in a car accident shortly after opening the restaurant. The second buyer reported a woman ghost descending the staircase with her hair hanging down, fainted at the sight, and abandoned the property within months. A third occupant, who practiced traditional Korean shamanism, moved in believing he could cleanse the spirits and was also gone within a year. Like most urban Legends, each new story add's a little more to the rumor.

....

The current owner, Mr. Ham, moved to the United States in the mid 2010s and has mentioned that he may eventually have the house demolished to make way for a war memorial park honoring the Jangsari student soldiers.

The 2019 Korean film The Battle of Jangsari, starring Kim Myung-min and SHINee's Minho, retold the operation for a new generation and renewed public interest in the site.

..

.

If you plan  to visit this location, take a KTX to Pohang and a 30 minute taxi north along the coast, the exact address can be found online BUT  Be advised the building's seems to be  going through renovations with a new sign that reads Angle Garden, the exterior walls have been repainted in yellow and white with new exterior lighting, new paint and heart-shaped plywood window cutouts and the entrance is  blocked at night with lights on inside, indicating that people are currently living on site.

...

Legends of the house have also inspired a psychological horror video game..

Called... The Abandoned House in Yeongdeok, which was released on August 28, 2026.

.,

Top 3 haunted location are ..

Neulbom Garden (늘봄가든) in Jecheon, North Chungcheong Province

Gwangju, Gyeonggi Province

It closed down in 1996.

Urban legends claimed patients died mysteriously and the owner went insane.

Visitors reported seeing paint like blood at the entrance, along with rusted beds, equipment, and medical supplies left behind just as the staff fled.

The building was  demolished in 2018.

Paranormal Encounters: Houston Rat-Man.

Strange sightings are not as rare as many believe Human like entity have been spotted in all manner of forms from flying ones to cave crawler and more...today we talk about The Rat Man of Houston, though he's Not the only rat like humanoid that's been spotted, there are some from all over the country, but we'll get to them eventually..

The Houston Rat-Man has several eyewitnesses accounts dating back to the late 1980's.

Like it's description would imply, he is a rat like humanoid.

This cryptid was first mentioned  on a 2022 Reddit  post, where the eyewitnesses recounts is strange encounter..

On his post he claims to have seen this  rat-like humanoid near the NRG Stadium.

Afterwards  several other Houston residents replied to his post, claiming to have also seen the rat man around the city.

.......................

Original 2022 post..

"I had an absolutely bizarre experience at a Texans football game and I just need to share it with you all to see if anyone else has ever encountered anything like this.

Last Fall I was at NRG stadium in Houston Texas when nature called and I headed to the bathroom. Now, here's where it gets weird – I'm at the urinal, and out of the corner of my eye, I spot this guy in a hoodie. But that's not the freaky part. He had this seriously strange nose that was kind of flaring, anf he was chewing on his own finger. The guy looked just like a rat. I was so creeped out that I could barely move. He had this intense gaze locked on me and then he put his finger up to his lips like he was telling me to be quiet, and walked away.

In that moment I felt the most genuine fear Ive ever felt – like the kind that sticks with you. No one else was in the bathroom. Has anyone else ever encountered something like this at NRG stadium? Maybe not exactly at a football game, but just seeing someone or something that made you question reality? It's been bothering me ever since it happened, and I'm hoping I'm not alone in this.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts, and seriously, if anyone else has had a similar experience, please let me know I'm not going crazy here"

🐀Other Eyewitnesses discriptions🐀

In 87 or 88.

"I saw this before, but I was only around 4 years old. I had just awoken and was walking down the hall towards the front to find my mom, but something got my attention in my room as I passed. It looked like a huge rat, and my room was messed up. I paused and backed up a couple of steps, and when I turned to look in my room again, this time, the room was completely in order, but in the doorway, staring down at me was a huge rat man. That's the only way I could explain it. I stayed screaming and ran, told my mom. She made my dad throw out a bed someone had given to us because she's very religious and assumed it was a Demon. I don't know what it was, but I still remember it clearly. I've Googled a few times but never found anything that seemed similar until now. I thought maybe rougaroo I'm from Louisiana, so that's our local legend. But it wasn't like a dog it was a rat . I never had imaginary friends or seen strange things before or after that, not until now that I'm older. That was back in 87 or 88."..

................

2000's...

Yeah I’m from Houston and something shockingly similar has happened to me! I was at the Houston comets WNBA game and I was I was out getting concessions. The concession worker was looking down and being quiet fidgety. So once I walked up and asked for some popcorn, the concession worker, then glared up at me with the creepy rat, humanoid eyes. The way he sucked his almost cartoonishly large teeth shook me to my core. And as he stared into my eyes he then did the same shush motion as I backed up and walked away. The strangest part is taht there were many people around me! But no one else seemed to notice!"

.........

......

I was traveling through Texas a few months ago, I was stopping to get some pizza to eat. I went inside the restaurant and swear I saw a rat man leaving the restroom. I tried to alert the authorities and staff, but everyone shrugged it off as me seeing things. I know what I saw, the rat humanoid definitely squeaked at me. But people will believe what they want to sleep at night, I guess"

......

.....

"You are not alone! I live in Houston, TX and I have seen a "person" that fits this description while driving near NRG/South Main area.

I was sitting at a red light and felt that feeling of being stared at. So I turn my head to my right and in the car next to mine there was what looked like an adult, human sized creature sitting in the driver's seat, but he had the face of a mammal.

At the time, I thought it was dog-like, but it could have been more rat-like as well. His face was covered in fur and he had a snout for a nose and whiskers. Also had the beady, non-human eyes. He stared at me with such intensity without looking away and I felt the most visceral fear, sort of a sinking feeling in my stomach and I wished I could drive away at that moment but I was stuck at the light.

I finally was able to speed away, but that image has stuck with me. Everyone I've told has just laughed it off and chalked it up to my mind playing tricks on me, but they just don't understand! It was super freaky.

.........................

So, what do you think? Is there a rat like man roaming the Houston area??????

Paranormal Folklore: The Slide Rock Bolter.

The Slide-Rock Bolter is a strange and massive  cryptid   that makes it's home on to of steep mountains, it was first recounted by 19th century  lumberjacks, according to folklore it lives in the mountains of Colorado, but only on mountains where the slope is at an angle greater than 45 degrees.

It somewhat resembles a large fish, with a large head, small eyes, and a huge mouth,  Its tail ends in a fluke like a dolphin, with enormous grab-hooks that it uses to stay in place high above it's prey until it's ready to strike.

The enormous beast doesn't hunt in a typical manner, instead it's a massive ambush predator.

It can stay completely motionless for days at a time, watching the gulch below for animals or  tourists unlucky enough to cross it's path.

The moment it's next meal is in sight, it will lift its tail to release its hold on the crest and let gravity do it's job, sending it barreling downhill, it drools a grease like substance   from the corners of its mouth to increase the speed as  its huge body barrels down the mountain.

It's  helpless victims are scooped  into its wide open mouth as it slides down. The accumulated speed will carry the Bolter up the next slope, where it will once again grasp the ridge with its tail and wait for it's next meal to wonder into it's grasp.

........

Encounters..

Whole parties of tourists are reported to have been gulped down at once. The animal is a menace not only to tourists but to the forest as well. Many spruce-covered slopes have been rendered wastelands as the Bolter knocks the trees out by their roots or mows them down as if with a scythe.

.....

A forest ranger, whose district included the rough country between Ophir Peaks and the Lizard Head, conceived the bold idea of deceiving a Slide-Rock Bolter to slide to its own destruction. A dummy tourist was outfitted with a plaid Norfolk jacket, knee breeches, and a guidebook to Colorado. The dummy was filled with powder and fulminate caps and posed in a conspicuous place.

The next day the false tourist attracted the attention of a Bolter that had been hanging for days on the slope of Lizard Head. The creature attacked. The resulting explosion flattened half the buildings in Rico, which were never rebuilt. The remains of the unfortunate Bolter made many a meal for the local buzzards that summer

1929 Dogman Encounter.

Happy October 1st, officially Spooky Season 🎃🦇.

An early account of  a Dogman/Wolfman raiding a pig farm in 1929..

This creature was described as a large  black, bipedal, pointy eared Bear/ Hyena.

The sightings took place in Valparaiso, Indiana, and was reported in the Vidette-Messenger,(local News Paper) on  February 8, 1929

The Encounter.....

Galena Indiana,  Feb. 8, 1929—

Another hunt has been started here for the mysterious black beast that raided the A. A. Akins farm just east of here, killed one pig and carried off in its “arms” another pig weighing 85 pounds, according to Leonard Akins, 20, who surprised the animal and was forced to flee for his life.

Posse of farmers, aided by dogs which tried to trail the black animal, failed to find it and returned still in doubt as to the identity of the creature.

“I can’t imagine what it was unless it was a cross between a big bear and a hyena,” young Akins said. The hunters found one set of tracks that resembled bear tracks, Akins related, but as no one in the party was an expert on bears, the question was left open, he said.

“The critter walked on its hind legs, had pointed ears and ferocious teeth, I can say that much,” Akins declared. The youth said he ran into the animal in a barn on the Akins farm. The beast was killing a 60-pound pig.

“The creature reared up on its hind legs and started toward me,” Akins said. “My airdale dog, however, dashed ahead and barked at it and it turned on the dog.”

Akins then started to run to his home to get his gun. In running he glanced around, saw the animal seize another pig which weighed at least 60 pounds, take it in its “arms,” go across the fence and start for some woods.

“It was as big as a man and walked on its hind legs,” the youth asserted. A canvass will be made of all circuses and zoos in Southern Indiana to determine if any wild beast escaped.

.......

The creature was never captured, and still remains a mystery too this day

All seven stone pillars are located west of the Ural Mountains in the Troitsko-Pechorsky District of the Komi Republic in the Pechoro-Ilychski Reserve on the mountain Man-Pupu-nyor, between the Ilych and Pechora rivers.

...The Legend...

The legend comes from folklore of the Mansi people.

According to myth,  the pillars were once a group of giant Samoyeds marching through the mountains to conquer the Mansi people. When the giant warriors reached the holy Mansi mountains and laid eyes upon them, a powerful shaman (sometimes called Yallingner) confronted the group.

The shaman used his ceremonial drum and magical powers to stop the invading giants in their tracks and turning them into stone. However, the shaman himself was unfortunately also affected by his own magic and turned to stone as well. Now they all stand as giant pillers of stone forever.

This myth explains why six of the stone's stand close together in a line, while the seventh stands slightly separated from the rest, representing the petrified shaman.

In the Mansi language, Manpupuner (or Man-Pupu-Nyor) translates literally to "Little Mountain of the Gods".

Paranormal Folklore and Mythology, Lughnasadh / Lammas.

According to Irish Mythology and the pagan wheel of the year Lughnasadh was a Celtic  holiday founded by the god Lugh as  a  funeral feast and athletic competition and Funeral games to commemorate the death of an earth goddess.

On the Celtic/ pagan calendar  Lughnasadh is a holiday that coincides with Lammas celebrating the first harvest.

Both ancient celebrations are traditionally  held on August 1st...

Lammas often overlaps with or is used interchangeably with Lughnasadh. It's one of the eight major Sabbats on the Pagan Wheel of the Year, honoring the importance of the grain harvest and Mother Earth's bounty. Early Irish Christians celebrated the first bountiful grain  harvest of the year by consecrating freshly baked loaves of bread during a church service.🥐🥖🍞

Other variations of the word are Lunasa, Luᵹ̇nasaḋ, Lughnasadh and Lughnasa.

In Modern Irish, the spelling is Lúnasa  which is also the name for August, Mí Lúnasa (Month of August) and Lá Lúnasa (Day of Lúnasa).  In Modern Scottish Gaelic (Gàidhlig), the festival and the month are both called Lùnastal  In Manx (Gaelg), the festival and the month are both called Luanistyn

The competition usually consist of multiple events  including matchmaking, horse racing, hurling, trading and of course a large feast.

Originally religious rites included an offering of the First Fruit of the grain harvest, a feast of the new food,  sacrificing a bull, ( no longer practiced) followed by a ritual dance.

Original festivals where held on top of hills, this tradition of climbing hills and mountains at Lughnasadh is still practiced in some areas and is recast as a Christian pilgrimage. The best known is the Reek Sunday pilgrimage to the top of Croagh Patrick on the last Sunday in July.

One custom Lughnasadh had in common with Imbolc and Beltane was visiting holy wells,  specifically clootie wells. Visitors  would pray for health while walking sunwise around the well; they would then leave offerings, usually coins or clooties. Although bonfires were lit at some of the open-air gatherings in Ireland, they were rare and not important to the celebrations itself.

Traditionally, the holiday was celebrated on  the first day of August.  Though after the christianization of Ireland  most of the  festivities where changed to the nearest Sundays – either the last Sunday in July or first Sunday in August.

Since the late 20th century, Celtic neopagans have observed Lughnasadh as a religious holiday. Other names for the festival are Mountain Sunday, Garland Sunday and Bilberry Sunday.

A common theme in the story of  is the tragic fate of a woman who is carried off or held against her will, and later dies out of shame, exhaustion grief , or an unspecified natural cause.

Another version regarding the  Lughnasadh site of Tailtin says the festival was founded by Lugh as funeral games in memory of his foster-mother tailtiu.

Folklore  says she died of exhaustion after clearing the plains of Ireland for agriculture.  Tailtiu may have been an earth goddess who represented the dying vegetation that fed mankind.  Another tale, about the assembly site of Nass,, says that Lugh founded the festival in memory of his two wives, the sisters Nas and Bói.  One theory is that it was a mourning (or wake) for the end of summer. There are several different versions of it's origins.

Another goddess associated with  Lughnasadh is Áine ..

She is an Irish Goddess of the Summer Solstice and of Lughnasadh who brings love, protection, fertility, wealth and sovereignty.

As a Moon Goddess she is the guardian of  livestock, crops, and cattle and as a Sun Goddess, she takes the form of ‘Lair Derg’, The Red Mare so fast that no one can outrun. In  this form she travels the country bringing blessings to everyone.

That's Not Human !!!!

On the night of July 13th 2021 a man driving down a dark country road in North Carolina had a terrifying encounter with an unknown creature...

The driver originally called 911about what he thought was a bloody man on the side of the road, only to scream "That's not human" moments later  when a creature leaped into the back of his moving truck.

The full account is as follows....

The witness called 911 and said he’d just seen a man covered in  blood on the side of a country road, staring back blankly in the dark.

As the dispatcher in Pender County tried to pin down the man’s location — somewhere on NC 210, just over the Black River — a loud thump came over the line.

“What the fuck!” the caller screamed. “That’s not human! That’s not human!

Sir, are you OK, sir?” the dispatcher asked over the driver’s yelling.

“There’s something in the bed of my truck!”

The creature began trying to get into the truck, clawing at the roof. The driver stepped on his breaks and sent it over the roof, he then drove off in a panic.

The dispatch operator seemed almost disinterested and kept asking about the creatures appearance almost trying to play it off as something else...

........

She ask, What was it?” “I don’t know.”“Like a turkey?” she asks. “A deer? He replied, Turkeys are pretty big.”“That wasn’t a turkey because I was driving 50 miles an hour. A turkey doesn’t hit that hard, and it was not covered in feathers at all.

Deputies later responded to the scene and flew a drone to scout the area, but they did not write an incident report. The NC Highway Patrol took over the investigation, but the paperwork shown in a YouTube video has troopers describing the scratch marks on the truck as being consistent with tree branches. Downplaying the entire event..

The full 11 minute call was released by law enforcement and the sheriff was even on the local news talking about the incident.

The sheriff statement...

Sheriff Alan W. Cutler.

“I don’t know for sure what he saw or what he experienced that night, but it was obvious that he was distraught,” said the sheriff, interviewed for Carolina Case Files. “I’m afraid it’s just one of those things in this world that we may not ever know the answer to.

If you listen to the dispatch recording you can hear the immediate panic in his voice when it's in his truck!

Paranormal: Strange News: ShipGoo001 🛢️⛴️👀

In the summer of 2024, the research vessel Blue Heron was studying algal blooms in Lake Erie, one of the Great Lakes spanning the Canada–United States border.

It went to a shipyard at the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, to be inspected for what turned out to be damaged propeller shaft bearings.

While examining the ship, the captain, Rual Lee, observed a black slimy substance oozing from near the rudder, and was concerned that a potential pollutant might have been coming out of the ship. He found that it did not leave a sheen on the surface of water, unlike hydrocarbons, and did not ignite when lit with a blowtorch, indicating that it was not flammable. Because the rudder is lubricated only by circulating lake water, it seemed unlikely that the material could have been some chemical leaking from the ship.

Personnel at the Large Lakes Observatory, which operates the research vessel, gave the material the temporary placeholder name "ShipGoo001". They took samples of the material to scientists at the University of Minnesota Duluth, to determine what the material might be. The scientists found that the goo contained DNA.

Through DNA sequencing and comparison against DNA databases, they were surprised to find that some of the DNA did not match any currently known organism, and appeared to be from entirely new species. The discovery was announced in 2025

Texas Zombie Pamphlet.

🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟🧟‍♀️🧟‍♂️
Dose the government think 2026 will be the year we see a real Zombie apocalypse????

Everyone knows  what a zombie is, we've all seen these ever hungry  undead abominations on tv,movies and horror.
But what would happen if there was an real zombie apocalypse, who many would be likly to actually survive at least until help arrives?
Mane people in the lone stare state may have found the answer to that, since March of 2026 a Zombie attack pamphlet has been free for guests in a Texas tax office.

It starts out with.... A "Zombie Attack! Are you prepared?" This  pamphlet was also in several videos on TikTok after being displayed at the Johnson County Tax Office in Burleson, Texas. Provided by Texas Constable Adam S. Crawford, the bright yellow brochure uses a fictional zombie apocalypse as a way to promote real-life emergency preparedness in citizens. Because if you are prepared for a possible zombie attack you likely have enough supplies and abilities to survive most natural disasters.

The pamphlet outlines practical survival steps and   advice on how to handle a  natural disasters like floods, tornadoes, hurricanes and pandemics.
Emergency Kit: Gather necessary supplies, non-perishable food, and water to survive the first few days before locating a safe evacuees camp or survivor shelter. You should also have a way to protect yourself bear mace, guns and ammo or bladed weapons self defense is often necessary especially when times are tight and resource's are scarce .

So stay safe be prepared for any situation and if you see a zombie aim for the head or hope you can out run it lol. 🧟‍♂️🧟‍♀️🧟👻
